Norden 0–30 – grant of up to €50,000 for youth projects in Northern Europe and the Baltic States

If you are a curator or cultural initiative working with teenagers and young people, this programme may be surprisingly relevant.
Norden 0–30 supports projects in which children and young people under the age of 30 are not just participants but co-authors. Projects eligible for funding must cover culture, social issues and/or politics.
The key condition is that young people must be genuinely involved in decision-making. They must be involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the project. The formal format of ‘we did it for them’ does not work here.

About the programme
The initiative is implemented by the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Committee for Children and Young People. It is administered by Nordic Culture Point.
The aim is to support projects that help young people develop skills, influence and participation in public life.
Maximum funding:
Up to €50,000 for projects involving at least three Nordic countries
Up to €10,000 for projects involving two Nordic countries
Mandatory condition: at least 15% co-financing from other sources (including contributions in kind – volunteer work, services and resources).

What is funded
Networking and collaboration
Meetings, camps, conferences, seminars, experience sharing, creation of new partnerships.
Creation and production
Campaigns, research, art projects, digital stories, publications, materials that strengthen youth participation.
The project can start no earlier than 8 weeks after the application deadline.

Who can apply
Organisations, associations, institutions, municipalities
and networks with a registration number can apply.
The project must include partners from two or three northern countries.
If two countries are involved, one of them must be Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands
or the Åland Islands.
If there are three countries, at least three countries from the following list must be involved:
Denmark, Finland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the Åland Islands. Cooperation with Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as with regions in Northern Calotte, is permitted.
There is no age limit for applicants, but they must represent a group that includes children and young people or have experience working with them.

How the project is evaluated
Real youth involvement
The depth of participation and degree of influence on decisions are evaluated.
Northern cooperation
The project should strengthen ties between countries in the region and create sustainable partnerships.
Contribution to the Vision 2030 strategy
The initiative should contribute to the development of the Nordic region as a sustainable and integrated space.
An additional advantage is working with vulnerable and underrepresented groups: minorities, refugees, young people with limited access to culture and education.

Application deadlines: 16.03.2026 – 16.04.2026 ; 02.09.2026 – 02.10.2026.
